Aqua to Replace Califon Residents Galvanized Service Pipes this Spring

Larry Carson, President of Aqua, NJ, advised that this spring Califon residents who still have galvanized pipes leading to their homes will be receiving new copper pipes, installed by Aqua.

This program is a result of recent legislation requiring water companies to replace not only all lead pipes leading to residents homes but galvanized pipes as well. Mr. Carson advised that if a resident has galvanized pipes they should have received a letter from Aqua advising of this replacement project. If you did not receive a letter, that means that you do not have a galvanized pipe as far as they were able to tell.
