West Morris Central Hosts Thanksgiving Turkey Trot

The West Morris Central Memorial 5K Turkey Trot is a community event being held to continue the tradition of the WMC Memorial Race started in 2006 in memory of Kyleigh D’Alessio and Tanner Birch. Since then the race has also honored the memory of Stephen Berstler and Paul Heembrock. All four attended WMC.  The 5k race and fun run will be held on Thanksgiving morning, Thursday, November 23, 2023 at 8am at West Morris Central High School, 259 Bartley Rd., Chester, NJ.  Registration starts at 7am and walk-ons are welcome.  The proceeds of the race will continue to the memorial scholarships in their names, a new Fallen Heros scholarship, Project Graduation, Community Night Out and new recreational projects for the benefit of the Township.
