Tewksbury Construction Code Office News

There have been recent changes at the Tewksbury Construction Code office that Califon residents should be aware of. First and foremost, Charles Rogers, Building Inspector, has retired after 16 years of employment with this office. We wish him a happy retirement and thank him for his many years of service. We wish him well on any new endeavors.

Kelly Marookian has been hired as the new Technical Assistant to the Construction Officials. Spring has sprung and residents are sure to be making plans for home projects, etc. Please contact William Skene, our Zoning Officer, and obtain a zoning permit, before contacting the construction office. Mr. Skene can be reached at (908) 832-7850 ext. 208 or by e-mail at wskene@embarqmail.com . A zoning permit is required prior to the issuance of a building permit. Contact Kelly or Ralph, for required building permits and they will walk you through the permitting process.
