Speed Data From Traffic Study by WPD

The Washington Police Department conducted a speed survey on Main Street by Philhower, going North(heading into town)

Over nearly a two week period, 14068 cars traveled into Califon using Main Street, and the average speed was 22.68.

Out of the 14000 cars, 75 were considered medium risk, which means to 10-20 over the speed limit.  There were none that were extreme risk which is 20+ over.  The highest speed coming down was 43.
