HOUSEHOLD GOODS PICK UP WILL BE MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 19TH!!

The Borough of Califon Council passed a Resolution at the September 6th meeting approving the contract  for Household Goods Pick Up on Monday, September 19th. Interstate Waste Services will be conducting the pick up.

The Council members ask that residents please use good judgement by placing a  conservative amount of household goods out for pickup.

As with everything these days, the rate that we have to pay per truck load and per ton has gone up.

We want to be able to continue to offer this service to our residents and will only be able to do so if we keep the loads at a reasonable amount.

** Please note, the following items WILL NOT BE PICKED UP:

*TELEVISIONS, COMPUTERS OR ANY ELECTRONICS

*ANY APPLIANCES WITH FREON 

If you are putting out rugs or soft furniture, please place a tarp over it so they do not get weighed down in the rain. You can remove it early Monday morning.  The IWS employees and their backs will thank you!
