CALIFON ISLAND PARK CLOSED ON FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 18TH FOR TREE WORK

The County of Hunterdon will be working in and around the Califon Island Park, on Friday, November 18th cutting down dead ash trees. HOUSEHOLD GOODS PICK UP WILL BE MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 19TH!!

The Borough of Califon Council passed a Resolution at the September 6th meeting approving the contract  for Household Goods Pick Up on Monday, September 19th. Interstate Waste Services will be conducting the pick up. The Council members ask that residents please use good judgement by placing a  conservative amount of household goods out for pickup.

Environmental Commission Awarded ANJEC Grant for a Community Pollinator Garden

The Califon Environmental Commission is excited to announce that they have been awarded the 2022 Open Space Stewardship Project Grant This grant of $1,500 has been  awarded by ANJEC.  The grant will be used to build a Community Pollinator Garden in the park.  Please watch for updates as volunteers will be needed.
