Lieutenants
The Lieutenants oversee the operation of the various divisions of the Department:  Administrative, Patrol Division and Support Services.

Administrative Lieutenant
The Administrative Lieutenant is staffed by Lt. Mark Niemynski; Lt. Niemynski is responsible for the Departments Accreditation Process, Standardized Operating Procedures, Records Bureau, OPRA Request, NJDARM, Annual Reporting, Municipal Court Liaison, Firearms Background Requests, CJP Coordinator and Building and Grounds of Police Headquarters.

Support Services Lieutenant
The Support Services Lieutenant is staffed by Lt. Douglas Compton; Lt. Compton is responsible for the Support Services Unit (Detective Bureau, Traffic Bureau/Emergency Services Unit and School Resource Officer), Departmental Fleet, Departmental Budget and Requisitions, Grants requests, Recruitment Officer, Morris County Communication Center Liaison, Department Social Media Networking, Public Information Officer and Departments Information Technology.

Patrol Lieutenant
The Patrol Lieutenant is staffed by Lt. Christopher Bratus; Lt. Bratus is responsible for the Patrol Division, School Liaison to the Washington Township Schools, Department Training Officer, Active Shooter/Tactical Instructor, Contractor Scheduling, Oversees Departments Specials and Matrons, Internal Affairs Officer, Uniform Crime Reporting, Township Alarms and is the Liaison for the Washington Township Fire Companies and Long Valley First Aid Squad.
