NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed proposals for the REVALUATION OF ALL REAL PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE BOROUGH OF CALIFON will be received by the Municipal Clerk, Borough of Califon, County of Hunterdon, State of New Jersey, at the Municipal Building, Clerk’s Office, 39 Academy Street, Califon, NJ through Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at 4:00 PM, prevailing time.  Pursuant to the competitive contracting provisions of the Local Public Contracts Law, NJSA 40A:11-4.1, et seq., the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Califon invite submissions for the provision of a municipal-wide revaluation to be conducted in 2026, and effective January 1, 2027, as more fully set forth in the Request for Proposals (“RFP”) documentation. RFP documentation is available in the Borough Clerk’s Office at the Municipal Building, 39 Academy Street, Califon, NJ, 07830 and may be inspected and/or obtained by prospective firms during the following hours: Monday-Thursday, 9 am-4 pm. Requests to review RFP documentation may also be made via email to: chaughey@califonboro.net. Proposals must be submitted in accordance with the RFP and requirements contained therein. Each submission shall be contained in a sealed envelope addressed to: The Borough of Califon, Borough Clerk, Borough of Califon Municipal Building, 39 Academy Street, Califon, New Jersey, 07830, and said envelope shall specify Revaluation RFP Submission Enclosed. The Borough will not be responsible for submissions forwarded through the U.S. Mail, or any delivery service, if lost in transit at any time, or if hand-delivered to an incorrect location. Contractors are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27 et seq.
