Hunterdon County Transfer Station Reopened for Recycling, Still Closed for Bulky Waste

Hunterdon County Transfer Station at 11 Petticoat Lane, Annandale has reopened for regular recycling Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, and Saturday from 7:30 am to 1:00 pm.

What you can recycle here: Rinsed bottles, jars, and jugs (glass and plastic); Rinsed cans (aluminum and steel); mixed paper (junk mail, newspapers, magazines, empty cereal boxes); corrugated cardboard boxes (clean and empty with no plastic or foam filling)

What NOT to recycle here: plastic bags; styrofoam; dishware, glassware, mirrors; pots and pans, scrap metal, small appliances; batteries; electronics; hazardous waste
