Spring Troutfest

Date: Saturday May 4th (No rain date)

Place Califon Island Park down to Califon Pond Dam

What: Children’s Fishing Derby from 8:30 – Noon and Shannons One Fly Contest: 1 PM – 4PM

Registration at Califon Island Park starting at 7:30 AM (Must register to be eligible for prizes)

Food, Prizes, Vendors, Fly Tying

Vendors: Scott, Winston and G Loomis Fly Rods, Korkers Footwear, RIO Products/Leaders, High N Dry Fishing Products, Ross/Abel Fly Fishing tackle, Bauer Fly Reels and others.

Volunteers from Trout Unlimited will be on hand to assist young anglers and also measure the trout caught.

There will be a special trout stocking prior to the event courtesy of Shannons Fly and Tackle.
