Aqua Water will be conducting Test Pits Beginning January 23rd

The State of New Jersey has required that ALL water companies replace all lead or galvanized water lines with in 10 years. This includes the service lines that lead from the water main in the street to residents homes. Aqua water has advised that Califon does NOT have any lead service lines to the homes but there are some galvanized lines that have been identified. The test pits that will be conducted are at homes where it is unknown if the lead service line is galvanized or not.
