Pedestrians

Pedestrians shall only cross a roadway in a designated crosswalk, and in the absence of a crosswalk, must cross the roadway at a right angle.
- Drivers must yield to pedestrians within crosswalks, but no pedestrian shall suddenly leave a curb or place of safety, and walk or run into the path of a vehicle that is so close that it is impossible for the driver to stop.
