Prescription Drug Drop Off Box

The Washington Township Police Department, has installed a Prescription Drug Drop Off Box in the lobby of their headquarters, located at 1 East Springtown Road, in Long Valley, N.J.  07853.

Prescription Drug Drop Off Box is open 24-7 all year round but the Police Department prefers drop offs to be made during daytime hours so an officer doesn’t have to come in off the road.

The Department will accept prescription drugs, prescription patches, , prescription medications, , prescription ointments, over the counter medications, vitamins, sample medications that are prescription or non-prescription, and medications for pets.

Items currently not accepted are sharps, (Needles, etc.) medications from businesses or clinics, ointments, lotions, or liquids, aerosol cans, inhalers, and hydrogen peroxide.

Disposing your unused medications in this manner prevents them from being misused, and keeps them out of the environment. Please take this opportunity to properly disposed of your excess or unused medications.
