Califon Island Park Arrest

Update: Califon Borough is pleased to report that Washington Township Police have made an arrest in connection with the car seat incident at Califon Island Park on July 7.

Many thanks to our police and community members for their assistance in bringing this matter to a swift resolution.  Regarding the recent vandalism at the park, we can also report that leads are currently being investigated and we remain hopeful for a similar conclusion.

The Borough of Califon takes great pride in our town and park and will not tolerate criminal behavior in any form.  Please remember to report any illicit or criminal behavior to the police immediately.”
